Амал Ел-Мотар

Амал Ел-Мотар е многократно награждаван автор с ливански произход. Тя е автор на фантастична проза, поезия и критика. Най-известна е като съавтор на бестселъра „Време да загубиш, време да спечелиш“, написан в съавторство с Макс Гладстоун – роман, който печели Hugo, Nebula, Locus и BSFA награди.

Нейните разкази са публикувани в списания като Lightspeed, Strange Horizons, Fireside Magazine и The Starlit Wood. Печелила е Rhysling Award три пъти за поезия, както и Locus Award за най-добър кратък разказ. Нейната първа сборна книга – The Honey Month – включва 28 разказа и стихотворения, вдъхновени от различни видове мед.

Освен с художествено писане, Амал се занимава и с литературна критика. Тя е била рецензент на научна фантастика и фентъзи за The New York Times Book Review.
